Construction Of Russian Fifth Gen Nuclear Submarine To Begin After 2020

The Russian defense ministry has approved a contract for the development of the fifth generation multi-purpose nuclear submarine.
The construction of the submarine is scheduled to begin after 2020, the general director of St. Petersburg Maritime Engineering Bureau "Malachite" Vladimir Dorofeev was quoted as saying by Ria Novosti Monday.
“The defense ministry has approved construction of new generation ship after 2020,” Dorofeev told Echo of Moscow .
So far we only know that the new multi-purpose submarine will be as unified with prospective strategic nuclear submarines, and its arms are hypersonic missile "Zircon".
