Alexander Doniphan and the Journey of the Dead. I've started the process of reworking, fine tuning my unpublished book about Alexander Doniphan who was a famed citizen soldier who led the longest unsupported trek by cavalry in world history. He was also the nation's leading orator in the mid 1800s, a peerless frontier defense attorney, and a political power who once entertained thoughts of running against Abraham Lincoln and met him in the White House before the Civil War. Afterwards, unbelievable tragedies haunted Doniphan. Hope to have it ready to go by June.
